PRODUCTION COMPANY VS DRUG EDUCATION = NOW SAVING LIVES REALLY
Fox 2 Productions was established in 2001 as an arts and Education organization by group of recording artist, including founder, Jackie Harrington who initially taught Music Education to youth. Our mission has changed and is now to “help the community become move proactive at keeping our roads safe from those who endanger them”. When Harrington looks back on the reflections on her accomplishments and activities in her art education in her portfolio, Jackie’s definition of leadership is the creating of conditions that cause a group of people to get done what they must get done despite adversary conditions. Even though the name 1 Fox 2 remains to represent the spirit animal meaning of providing guidance on swiftly finding your way around obstacles people wonder how those who were Music Educators/performers can now save so many lives. As a solo Recording Artist, Harrington ended her performing career leaving a past portfolio of her own personal song recordings, discography, performances at ShowTime at the Apollo, and various TV appearances, abandoned after health challenges surmised. To the Contrary, in 2013 1 Fox 2 innovated (Consult Ed) substance abuse treatment program after learning the effects of Drunk Driving her in Texas. The team planned and developed the Driver Reinstatement Plan. A multidisciplinary approach to secure proper ID, increase awareness of DWI and prevent endangerment of our lives, providing collaborative referrals to resources that ensure compliance of driving sanctions. Aspired by the passion to make a difference caused her to refocus and delegate this approach to management team, and liaisons who served to board of directors, individuals, and government agencies to unite individuals to access of resources’ that changes their lives. We realize the problem in this community, is the limitation on the access to resources, primarily due to literacy, language, barriers, and education, affordability. Harrington is commended for the concept of overcoming obstacles that promoted the evolution of an amazing program that saves lives and helps thousands of underserved individuals opposed to lying dormant to her own challenges. Jackie graduated from the University of Texas at Texas – 2015 Paralegal Certification Program Austin Community College – Music Management 2007.
